Acquisition of Diamond Limousines

February 14, 2019 – Legacy Limousine, a Southern Maryland-based limousine company, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Diamond Limousines, Inc., creating the largest provider of limousine and luxury transportation service in the area.  Diamond Limousine is the perfect companion company to Legacy Limousine and the acquisition will allow each company to bring their expertise, strategies, and superior customer service to form the ideal corporation.


Kimberley Mosher, owner of Diamond Limousines, Inc., will work with Legacy Limousine and help to create a smooth and seamless transition.  “Our main focus is to continue to provide top-notch exemplary service to all of our clients” said Kimberley Mosher.  “We’ve developed personal relationships over the past ten or more years, and we hope to continue those relationships under the Legacy name.” 


Legacy Limousine will retain Diamond Limousines’ current fleet of seven limousines, buses, and executive SUVs, as well as many current members of the Diamond team.  Current clients may request to have their same chauffeurs and will continue to work directly with Kristal to make their reservations.

New Director of Operations

September 10, 2014 – Legacy Limousine, a Southern Maryland-based limousine company, announced the hiring of Kim Cooksey as its new Director of Operations. “With her extensive experience in small businesses, Kim is definitely an invaluable member of our team,” says Legacy Limousine Owner & President, Mike Hill. “We’re thrilled to have her leading us in a new direction and I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. With her operational experience and commitment to providing the best service to clients, we will strive to maintain the highest level of service and the most memorable experience for our clients.”


Cooksey is not new to the Legacy Limousine family. She was previously the Office Manager and Webmaster from 2004 to 2010 and has been with a local small business services company since 2010. She will play an important role in leading the company to become the premier limousine and executive sedan service company in Southern Maryland.

As Director of Operations, Mrs. Cooksey has operational control of all company operations including reservations, fleet management, HR management and budgeting. She will work with Mr. Hill to generate both short and long term strategic objectives relating to Legacy Limousine’s business and marketing plans and policies and procedures to ensure optimum results in support of the company’s future operations.

Airport Service

July 1, 2015 - Since 2002, our goal has been to provide the highest quality service for our clients and to continually improve our customer's experience. This includes our luxurious fleet of vehicles, professional and courteous chauffeurs, seamless reservation process, and flexible schedules – including around-the-clock service.


When we first started offering executive sedan airport service in 2004, the cost was just $99 each way to National Airport, $109 to BWI, and $119 to Dulles.  In 11 years, despite rising fuel and insurance rates, we’ve increased our rates just a few times, and overall only about 30% since 2004.


Over time, we’ve found that many of our clients appreciate this service.  Whether it’s picking up at 4am, waiting at the airport for them until 11pm, loading their luggage in and out of the vehicle, or providing curbside pickup when it’s raining or snowing, it’s a service that many have become accustomed to.


In order to continue to provide this superb service to our clients, we’ve decided to increase our rates slightly in 2015.  In addition, we will also begin to provide EZ toll access to shorten our clients’ travel time.  Effective July 1, 2015, our rates from Hughesville and points North to National Airport will increase to $139; BWI to $169; and Dulles to $189.
